Like many other significant businesses, video game retailer GameStop will close its doors on Thanksgiving Day. But, their Black Friday deals will begin earlier than usual.
As some of you may know, GameStop used to close its doors every Thanksgiving Day. Still, in 2017 up until 2019, the establishment has opened around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. But this year, due to the Coronavirus crisis, GameStop will have to close once more and release their Black Friday deals early, just like other Businesses such as Walmart or Target.
GameStop has not yet revealed when the exact date their Black Friday 2020 deals will come out. However, in a press release, it did say that its biggest Black Friday deals will be available earlier than ever before. So expect to see many pre-Black Friday deals from GameStop throughout November, if not even earlier.
Though GameStop will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, you are still allowed to shop the day before and after if you like to. You will also be able to check out their Black Friday deals online as well as on their new mobile app. As for the operating hours of GameStop this Black Friday season, there is no announcement made yet.
Aside from the ‘Ship from Store’ mode, shoppers also can buy online and pick it up from the store during this Black Friday season. There is also another option called ‘Same Day Delivery,’ which is self-explanatory already. Still, it will only be available in select areas.
For sure, GameStop will give us the best deals they can offer, and for sure most of it will be affordable this Black Friday season. Gamers will indeed have fun this season as they can buy their anticipated video games for a lower price this season. Next-gen consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S may even be affordable this holiday season, or we hope.
